I really love this gravel! It's the perfect accent without having too much "natural look" and too much "fake rock" look. And if you prefer a little bit more color you can buy a smaller bag of colorful gravel to mix in! Depending on your fish, the colorful species' colors really pop out with this gravel in your tank. It took a lot of rinsing to get it tank ready however. The black dust still stirs up when I mess around with my gravel and has to be cleaned out by my filter, turning my filter media black. The black was coming off on my hands while I agitated the gravel under water. I rinsed for over 30 minutes and was still getting black in the water, nothing to take a star off for though. The colored gravel also glows under blue light!
