Using the Planted+ 24/7 CC Series allows users to save various color combinations in multiple intensities throughout the 24/7 program. Set it once, and watch the fixture go through your custom daily sunrise to sunset - All hands free. Venturing out from the fixture's 24/7 mode: also featured are four separate memory slots allowing users to save and access their custom colors & intensities on command. Accessible via the IR controlled remote are four different weather modes: Cloudy, Thunderstorm, Sunset, & Starry Moon Night. Equipped with 2 rows of intensive daylight and true 660nm RED LEDs, centered are a blend of dual red, green, and blue LEDs. The Planted+ 24/7 CC is equipped with a dynamic remote. The remote allows users to enter in & out of 24/7 mode, along with customizing various color combinations and commencing the 4 featured weather modes with the click of a button. To easily determine one's position while dialing in one's custom settings, the Planted+ 24/7 CC also features a receiver sensor that has 2 different color indicator LEDs to clear any confusion. Have a rimless aquarium? Rimmed aquarium? Need to hang your fixture? The newly designed legs allows the fixture multiple mounting options. Rimless aquariums can lock the fixture in place by using the provide securing screws. Aquariums featuring wider rims can remove the detachable inner portion of the fixture’s legs to allow the fixture to rest upon the sides of the rim. To hang, users can simply flip the legs upside down and insert into the fixture to create a nice hanging mounting base.

Purchased this light as a third lighting modification to my "topless" aquascaped low tech Fluval Edge. Should have gone straight to this light as my initial. Modification! My plants were doing okay with dosing and my second light upgrade on a timer but they just weren't thriving and the tank was starting to get brown algae. After one week with the Finnex Planted 24/7 SE in full 24 hour mode my plants are growing at a much faster pace and the brown algae is going away which tells me that this light option is pretty good for this set up.I also like the 24 hour mode because there is still some light at night as it goes through it's sun set phase into the moon phase. It's pretty cool and sure beats the previous all on or all off lighting option I did have. Looking forward to seeing future results as my tank and plants get more time with this light. Pretty good results so far after just one week.
