I feel sorry for my betta, apparently the little oval thermometer I had been using with the probe was not accurate. So when I had low temps, I raised the temp on the heater. One day during a water change, it just felt too warm, and when I used a different thermometer, the one I use to check the water temp from the sink when i do the change, it was like 7 or 8 degrees warmer. So I pulled a few other thermometers out, and all confirmed the one was bad. I'm fortunate my poor fish wasn't belly up.So I tried a few other ones but finally settled on this. I was worried about the accuracy, but the positive reviews gave me some hope. And they proved valid. This one seems spot on with all the others I've got here for other purposes.I will likely put some white paper behind it to make it easier to read, but it went on fine, and is giving me the right readings.Worth it if you have the space to put this on the side somewhere.
